Thanksgiving Holday: Trash collection delayed, offices closed | News

North Port, Florida -- North Port residents and commercial customers will experience changes in their solid waste pick-up dates due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

There will be no garbage, recycling or yard waste collection on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22. Residential and commercial collection for Thursday's and Friday's pick up will be delayed one day. Thursday collection will take place on Friday, and Friday collection will take place on Saturday.

Government offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday.

Please remember to place all garbage, yard waste, recyclables and scheduled bulk curbside before 7 a.m.
