Lane closure on US 41 at Sumter Blvd. due to construction | News

North Port, Florida -- The City of North Port has announced the outside westbound through lane of US 41 is scheduled to be closed to traffic between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 16, 19, 20, 26, 27, and 29, 2012. 

City of North Port Police officers will direct traffic on US 41 at the Cocoplum Village Shoppes/Home Depot intersection and at the US 41/Sumter Boulevard intersection during these dates and times. Delays are to be expected in the construction area and motorists are encouraged to avoid this segment of west-bound US 41, if possible.

Construction will be completed on or before March 5, 2013.
