Arts in the Park to feature local artists at Garden of Five Senses | Arts & Culture

North Port, Florida -- The City of North Port Parks Department has invited member North Port Art Center artists to participate in the city's "Arts in the Park" special event at the Garden of the Five Senses on Pan American Boulevard from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 17.

There's room for up to 18 participating artists to work "en plein air" while city residents enjoy an evening of art, live music, and picnicking in this beautiful setting. Anyone who would like to come set up their easels, pottery wheels, or other tools of the trade and demonstrate their artistic specialty is encouraged to do so. We have about 10 artists already signed up, but we'd love to have more.

If you participate, you are more than welcome to bring finished works with you, and perhaps make a few sales during the evening. There are three outdoor electrical outlets available for those needing them. For more information, please call the Art Center at (941) 423-6460.
